Adolescents sexual risk-taking behaviour has been a source of concern to stakeholders in the secondary education in Nigeria. This menace was the concern of this study which investigated the relative effectiveness of goal- setting skills and locus of control re-orientation training in reducing adolescents sexual risk-taking behaviour. The study adopted a pre-test - post-test quasi experimental design with a 3x2x2 factorial matrix. Stratified random sampling technique was used to select 90 participants from senior secondary schools in Osun State. Groups were randomly assigned to treatment s. The participants met for six weeks at one hour per contact session. Three instruments were validated and used for collecting data in this study namely; Parent Adolescent Communication and Sexual Risk Taking Behaviour of Adolescent ( a=73), Locus of Control Re-orientation training Scale (a=72) and Self efficacy scale (a=75). Data collected were analyzed using simple percentages and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) with result tested at 0.05 level of significance.
