The Island is a series of pictures by Andreas Tobias. The photographs originated under unusual circumstances: in the midst of the pandemic, the artist and photographer travelled to Iceland on two separate occasions. The Photography served him as a healing ritual to overcome a private crisis. Consequently, his images show qualities of transformation, freedom and intimacy. They are an intimate approach to nature.
