Greenland is on its way to becoming a small Nordic nation. With the established self-government from 2009, Greenlandic elites continue the path towards increasing independence from the Kingdom of Denmark. At the same time, rapid social and cultural change is taking place. But how do people actually live in the Arctic today? The contributions show from different scientific perspectives that their existence is marked by both continuities and ruptures.
