Dr. Rainer Hackel (*1963 in Leipzig) studied in German Language and Literature, Philosophy and Musicology in Frankfurt am Main. He received his doctorate in 2009, Doctoral Thesis covering narrative works by Gertrud Fussenegger. He has published many music critiques in a number of professional journals. He lives in Frankfurt am Main. Gail Gilmore is one of the greatest opera and Gospel singers of our time. She sang with other greats like Jose' Carreras and Peter Hofmann and was the star of the "Gielen Era" at the Frankfurt Opera in Germany.
