Beschreibung
The long-term bearing behaviour of foundations in urban areas is often affected by alternating loads caused for example by repeated lowering of the groundwater level due to neighbouring construction measures or by modifications in the rising structure. Demolition, reconstruction or extension, e.g. for the revitalisation of existing structures, can significantly influence the loads acting on the foundation.
The aim of the project is therefore to investigate the load-bearing behaviour of highly loaded raft and piled raft foundations in overconsolidated clay under alternating loads, and to qualitatively and quantitatively record the effects on the long-term behaviour.
