This book addresses the platelet-rich plasma providing an objective evidences for its role in the healing process of acute wounds. The evidences encompass clinical ,laboratory and pathological parameters. comparison between the wound areas managed with PRP was done with other areas treated with conventional methods,the PRP managed area, exhibiting a thicker epidermis with well formed keratin in addition to well arranged collagen bundles in the dermis is provided as a hard evidence of the role of PRP in wound healing.
