Beschreibung
Optimization of the optical wireless channel using WDM and DWDM technique is demonstrated. Designing and analysing the optical network is firstly executed. Cascaded amplifiers are used at power level of 12 dB and with net spectral efficiency that is 6.45 b/s/Hz. The cascaded amplifiers employed enhanced the Q-factor and BER of the system and the gain achieved of the system was satisfactory. The signals are transmitted at a distance of 10,000 km with channel spacing of 100 GHz in conventional optical band (1530- 1565 nm). DWDM is used at the channel spacing of 100GHz and the bandwidth of the designed system is 4500GHz.
